Q: Why Hire A Professional Photographer?

A: The pictures are what you look forward to after the wedding. They're shared with friends and family for a lifetime. Don't depend on uncle Joe or cousin Jane to take the pictures. Instead rely on a photographer that observes your wedding and knows what to capture.

Q: Why Shiela Hizon?

A: Shiela is a professional with formal training in photography. She has a fine art and photojournalistic approach. Just like couples are a match, a photographer also has to be a match for the couple. You can re-live your wedding day moments through the photographs she captures.

Q: What are your wedding photography advice?

A: While every wedding is unique, here are some suggestions when it comes to scheduling:

- Give the photographer plenty of time to take portraits and details of bride/groom getting ready, the ceremony site and guests arrival.

- Plan on taking as many posed portraits before the ceremony.

- Have family and bridal party be on time and prepared to take photos.

- Have a list of group photos you would like so that everything is not rushed. Group takes about 2-5 minutes per group photograph.

- It's important that the bride and groom set time for portraits of just the two of them right after the wedding ceremony, 20 minutes minimum.
